The Symphonic Concert in the Poznan Philharmonic conducted by him clearly showed that he is an artist of outstanding musicality and great sound imagination and is capable of successfully and effectively cooperating with orchestra performers... The performance was characterized by remarkable clarity and consistency in the construction of big form and good and well applied emotional and energetistic tensions. His cooperation with the soloist was characterized by remarkable alertness and flexibility. His manual performance is excellent and easy to follow. He is a performer of outstanding artistic personality, big temperament and is also a broad-minded artist.

He was one of my students and already during the courses he was conspicuous by his diligence, laboriousness and honest attitude of his studies. Moreover, he is a person of high culture and showed an ability to establish good relations with orchestral ensemble very easily... we can expect that in very near future he will become an interesting artist of great caliber.
(...) During the second part of the concert he conducted III Symphony "Scottish" by Felix Mendelssohn Bartholdy and that performance was very interesting, consistent with conception and also whith many nuances.
(...) Koncert Czajkowskiego potwierdził spore możliwości i odporność nerwową kairskiego dyrygenta. Poprowadzona przez niego w drugiej części koncertu III Symfonia "Szkocka" Feliksa Mendelssohna Bartoldy'ego zabrzmiała interesująco, konsekwentna w koncepcji, a także w licznych niuansach.

(...) The Cairo Symphony, in a happy period, suggested a sense of majesty and pomp which filled the Small Hall. This conductor's work is clearly built on beat, tempo and precision. There are no smudges to interfere with his control of the orchestra. The impulse is ward-going.
(...) This was the best performance they have given this year. It comprised a pepped-up choice of pieces. A reasonably large audience, and the bounty of a new, youthful conductor Ashraf Benyamin . So the season ended in smiles, not tears.

(...) O tym. jak ważny dla orkiestry jest prowadzący ją dyrygent, mają okazję przekonać się bywalcy koncertów w Filharmonii Wrocławskiej. Orkiestra grywa z wieloma rożnymi mistrzami dyrygentury i właściwie pod batutą każdego z nich brzmi trochę inaczej. Ashrafowi Benyaminowi udało się uzyskać wyjątkowo dobry dźwięk. W łagodnym "Poranku" z "Peer Gynta" Griega można było usłyszeć bardzo stonowane piano i wyjątkowo udane solówki instrumentów dętych - ciepły dźwięk pierwszego oboju przywodził na myśl poranne słońce. Z kolei w szybkich, tanecznych częściach suity orkiestra zaprezentowała pełnię symfonicznego brzmienia.
